Airtel 3G Service Tariff Plans In Delhi / NCR

Bharti Airtel launched its 3G mobile services in NCR spanning national capital Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon and Faridabad. These services will offer the customers access to features such as video calls, mobile TV, high speed Internet as well as video capacities with customized tariff plans and schemes. Airtel has lined up the packages on regular basis as per the content requirement and application of the customers. Bharti will further be promoting sachet pack in which the applications will be easily available at a low cost of just Rs. 21 per day.

In order to download the 2GB data, postpaid and prepaid customers will need to pay RS. 750. Under Flexishield plan, they need to pay Rs 675 for 1.25 GB data downloading with 3G speed till the total data bill get to Rs 2,000. after this, no charges will be levied on the data access with speed 20 KBPS.
President Mobile Services, Atul Bindal said that they are surely witnessing tipping point of data and non voice explosion in this nation and so they have brought the 3G plans to India in order to offer benefits to the customers.

Airtel also claims that the company has fine tuned the 3G tariff plans to be personalized as well as transparent so that the customers do not face the problem of “bill shocks”. The telecommunication giant is even eager to point out that the mobile Internet services provided by them extend much beyond the world of 3G capable phones, to tablets and laptops. This simply means that 3G dongles are available at the Airtel outlets.

3G seems to be too costly for a common Indian..... If providers realy want some profit from 3G, they have to lower the cost from 50 to 70% :-)..... I know this is very hard but you won't get customers if you make services so costly... I have a very simple logic...which I think they should apply..... If their 650 waala plan will be taken by 100 people they earn 65000 but if they lower the plan by say...350 I guess 1000 will opt for it....and then they can earn 350000...:-) what you say guys :-)
