The 63rd Cannes Film Festival started on 12th may and will continue till
23rd may, 2010. Worldwide, Cannes Film Festival is one of the most
prestigious film festival. It was first founded in the year 1946. During
the festival films are screened in as well as out of competition. The
various films compete for Palme d’Or award.
The recipient is selected
by a jury which include actors, composers, and screenwriters like
Alberto Barberra, Kate Beckinsale, Shekhar Kapur, Victor Erice,
Emmanuel Carrere etc.

The one Indian actress who has been representing Indian cinema
Consistently at the film festival is none other than Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan. She has been most talked about at Cannes for her
Fashion sense. She has received a number of praises for her elegant
look all the time. This time at the Cannes film festival she got a mixed
response from all fashion experts.
This year it was Deepika Padukone’s first appearance at the Cannes
Film festival and she wore an Indian outfit that represented the Indian
culture. She wore a saree designed by Indian designer Rohit Bal.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a regular face seen at the film festival though failed to impress everyone with her western outfit.
