Commonwealth games journey starts from today from London UK

Journey of Commonwealth games is starting from today with an opening ceremony with Sanskrit Prayers. England Queen Elizabeth II launched the Queen`s Baton Relay for 2010 Commonwealth Games which will held in Delhi. Our honorable president Smt. Pratibha Patil was also there on this occasion. The monarch handed over the baton to Indian President Pratibha Patil, then she handovers the baton to Indian Sports minister Suresh Kalmadi.

Our only individual Olympics gold medalist Abhinav Binda took the baton from Kalmadi and other total 11 Indiancwg tiger Commonwealth games journey starts from today from London UKplayers contributed in this relay Including Indian Tennis Star Sania Mirja, World cup Winning Indian caption Kapil dev, Olympic bronze medalist Vijender Kumar and more.

This Baton will travel more than 1 lakh 90 thousands Kilometers in 340 days. This will cover 20000 Kms in India as well during 10 days.

Commonwealth games 2010 are happening at Delhi and Commonwealth officials are preparing for it from past 4 years. Preparations for games are going with full flow and hopefully everything will be completed within the time.

Hotel Booking for commonwealth games is already started and till the time only 55% hotel rooms are prepared for expected crowd for commonwealth games.
