Australia has conquered the first place with a total of 69 medals and it will be tough for the Indian players to cross their mark. Till now India has a total of 34 medals in its account, out of which 14 are Gold medals, 11 are silver medals and 9 are bronze medals.

Today’s day started with capturing 2 gold medals in shooting. Vijay Kumar and Gurpreet Singh won these two gold medals in the men’s 25-metre rapid fire pistol pair event. Dr Karni Singh Range also added a silver medal in India’s medal cart. The day ended for India when Ronjan Sodhi won a silver medal in men’s double trap.

Indians are super excited with the performance of their players and are rushing to the stadiums to watch them play live. The players have performed outstandingly well and the Indian audiences are overwhelmed after seeing the games.

The Indian players are highly geared up and the country is looking forward to snatching as many gold medals as possible.
