The popular search engine, Google celebrates its 12th birthday today on 27th September 2010. The Search engine is featured with a great Doodle Google Cake. The users are welcomed with the sweet cake as the regular logo of the search engine has been replaced with the cake’s image. This new logo has been created by Wayne Thiebaud, the famous American painter.
Thiebaud is world known for his superb paintings of everyday objects including cakes and has even been linked with Pop art movement. The letter “L” in ‘Google’ is highlighted by the burning candle on the cake.
