Easter History
Easter is celebrated by Christians worldwide as the day of resurrection of Jesus Christ on the 3rd day since his crucifixion. It is on a Sunday which is generally referred to as the Easter Sunday which comes 2 days after Good Friday and 3 days after Maundy Thursday. According to the Gregorian calender Easter always falls on a Sunday between March 22 and April 25. Saturdays are generally spent by most of the English speaking Christian population by traditionally decorating Easter eggs.
