One of the most secret festival of Hindu’s “Navratri” is starting from today and this festival is celebrated in all over India .Navratri, is deemed to be an imperative festival by Hindus. As the name suggests Nav-ratri, the festival is celebrated over the period of nine long days.
Each day is dedicated to the known nine form of the Goddess. The nine forms of Durga are: Durga, Bhadrakali, Amba or Jagdamba, Annapurna, Sarvamangala, Bahiravi, Chandalika, Lalita and Bhavani. It begins with the bright fortnight of the Ashwina’s first day. Herein, Goddess Durga or Shakti is worshiped with great conviction and astonishment. According to religious ideology, Durga is synonym Prakriti, Goddess responsible for the creation of the humankind.
