HG Well – The World Renowned Father of Writing H.G. Wells

Herbert George Wells or popularly known as HG Wells was the great English author who was known primarily for his science fiction works. He was even a great writer in other genres like history, contemporary novels, politics as well as social commentary. Along with Jules Verne, HG Wells is referred to as “Father of Science Fiction”.

Moreover, seeking a structured way in playing the war games, H.G. Wells also penned down the Floor Games in 1911 which was then followed by Little Wars in 1913. This Little Wars is known even today for being the very first recreational and interesting war game. Thus Wells is also regarded by the hobbyists and gamers as the “Father of Miniature War Gaming”.
