The ASIAN Cricket Council declared that the Asia Cup 2010 will be held in June. According to Asian Cricket Council, the seven one day internationals will be held from 15th June to 25th June in Sri Lanka. Nimbus Sports International and Asian Cricket Council have also declared partnership for the Asia Cup event that will be held from the year 2010 to 2014. The 5 year partnership will consist of 3 Asia Cup cricket events, marketed universally by the famous Nimbus Sport.
The Asia Cup 2010 playing countries include UAE, Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Hong Kong. UAE and Hong Kong are the non test playing countries in this Asia Cup event. According to the rotation scheme of the Asia Cup, India will be hosting the event this year.
It is believed that the Asia Cup will be enjoyed every alternating year i.e. in 2010, 2012 and 2014. Every event of the Asia Cup will be featuring teams from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka playing cut throat matches against each other in the league format.
