The largest car maker of the country, Maruti Suzuki India has launched its latest version of Swift at a great price. The new version as launched today i.e. on Wednesday and the introductory price range are set between Rs 4.22 lakhs and Rs 6.38 lakhs. New Swift now retains the look of the older version but the elements such as tail lights and headlights have been given a stretched look.
The all new Swift is spacious, longer and lighter with better dynamics, improved CO2 emissions, better economy and increased performance. The car is further powered by latest petrol engine however the diesel engine is the same like Swift 2010 but what is great to note is that it has also been tuned for amazing fuel efficiency.
The base version of petrol new Swift is available at Rs 4.22 lakhs and the base Swift diesel will be made available at Rs 5.17 lakhs.
Shinzo Nakanishi, the CEO and Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki India told that they have launched the new Swift at the time when there is great demand for outgoing model. He said that he is confident that this new Swift will definitely make new benchmarks with the improved fuel efficiency facility, high performance, sporty look and stylish appeal.

The car maker is likely to further launch the Swift DZiRE on new Swift platform in coming 6 to 8 months. The 2011 model for Swift is easily available in 6 variants i.e. three of diesel and three of petrol: LDi, VDi, ZDi, LXi, VXi and ZXi.
