Pune Warriors will be facing the Kochi Tuskers Kerala today at DY Patil Stadium, Mumbai. The Pune team, led by Yuvraj Singh had a great debut in the IPL 2011 with a win against Kings XI Punjab in the very first match.
As far as the bowling side is concerned, Wayne Parnell, Murli Karthik, Ashish Nehra, Jerome Taylor and Bhuvneshwar Kumar might prove to be dangerous. On the other side, Kochi is under the captaincy of Mahela Jayawardene and it is believed that the team will put the best possible game in the attempt for recovering the loss to Bangalore Royal Challengers.
It will in fact not be a simple match for the Kochi Tuskers to beat Pune Warriors. Yuvraj Singh said that batting is their strength but the team’s fielders and bowlers too rose to occasion in order to help the squad register a great win with a number of overs in hand.
Both the teams are new in this tournament and will surely look forward to make certain that they can be victorious in today’s match.
