21st August 2010, New Delhi :The top tennis players from the Indian team have at last threatened and revolted to pull out from the CWG 2010 due to the non payment of their salaries and other dues. The players asked AITA for their reimbursement of dues since the Davis Cup 2008. Anil Khanna, AITA Secretary admitted that the delay has been done and that the players were not given their dues due to the audit procedures and rules of the government.

The players who joined this protest include Mahesh Bhupathi, Leander Paes, Rohan Bopanna and Somdev Devvarman. In fact, the AITA was held responsible for all this mess by the Union Sports Ministry.
