Uttarakhand Common Pre Medical Entrance Examination is the test which is conducted specially by Uttarakhand Council of Entrance Examination to help the students get admission in different private un-aided dental, medical, homeopathic and Ayurvedia colleges in Uttarakhand. The UPMT and UKSEE examination results 2010 will be declared soon on 10th June 2010 as reported by the Pro Vice Chancellor of the University, Mr. H.C. Nainwal.
The entrance examination is conducted every year in different places like Bhopal, Lucknow, Varanasi, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dehradun, Jaipur and Ludhiana. The UPMT entrance exam 2010 was held in May 2010 and admission to courses like BDS, BHMS, MBBS and BAMS will be based purely on merit and the scores achieved by students in the entrance test. Admission will even depend on the total amount of seats that will be available in every college or institute.
There are indeed different eligibility criteria for students and courses and so the students can refer to the UPMT prospectus in order to get information on eligibility criteria and other important details. Students can even contact UPMT department in order to get first hand details on post PMT processes and other counseling schedules.
