Windows 7, Vista and Windows Xp– Which one is better?

Many of my friends ask me why I preferred Windows 7 over Vista and xp. For the past 2 years I was a dedicated user of Vista and Xp but then something new happened. Microsoft launched its beta version of Windows 7 .But I never installed any of them. For some reason I don’t like loading Beta Operating systems on my pc. But once the release candidate copy was released I simply couldn’t resist and so downloaded a copy and since then I have never switched back to vista or xp even once.Windows_7_Aero_Theme

Windows 7 is basically like Vista but it has been highly improvised. While Vista happens to be a bulky and consumes a lot of memory Windows 7 does the exact opposite. It hardly consumes any memory. When idle it consumes about 400MB of ram. We all know how Windows Vista has more features than Xp. So I’ m not going to compare them here. The feature why I like xp more than vista was because it was light. BUT it always came with a price. My xp had crashed many times thus forcing me to format again and again and lose valuable data. However I find that windows7 is even lighter and has no stability issues. I have been using it for the last 6 months and since then it hasn’t crashed even once.

This new OS provides us with a number of features like dynamic viewing of pages by using the aero style. Now we can browse multiple folders practically at a time and its damn convenient too. It also provides us with dynamic changing wallpapers, no extra software needed, just apply the themes and your wall will get changed automatically along with your sound scheme. In vista we had to use a complete partition for backup but here we can place our backup at any partition and at any location. Further if our os gets corrupt we can restore it from this backup and the exact files reappear again.

Next we have the organization of documents and files like we do in a library. All the pdf files at all locations are together linked and are put in a contents form, for easy access. Power management has been improvised and sleep and resume features are also really helpful.

With built in Directx 11 you are going to have no problem in playing your games. Windows 7 also has the touch screen support, provided you have a touch screen. At last I would say if you are looking for an excellent OS along with peace of mind then I recommend you go for Windows 7.

The trial version is for 30 days after which in case you like it you are requested to buy it. People use activation cracks, serials and product keys to make their copies legal but I never support piracy. If you are getting benefited from something why not buy them.
